Does Amazon actually suppress books for accessibility issues?
Yes. Amazon's KDP Content Quality guidelines require EPUBs to meet accessibility standards. Books that fail are flagged as “quality issues” and get reduced search visibility or suppression notices. The W3C EPUB Accessibility 1.1 spec defines the standards Amazon references, and the European Accessibility Act (2025) now mandates compliance for books sold in the EU.
Is my book safe? Do you store it?

Is this really free?
Yes. Rahatt is free during beta. We may introduce paid plans for advanced features in the future, but scanning and basic fixes will always have a free tier.
How does the scanning work?
We use DAISY Ace, the industry-standard accessibility checker used by publishers like Hachette and HarperCollins. It evaluates your EPUB against WCAG 2.1 AA standards and identifies the specific issues that trigger Amazon's quality filters.
Will this actually help my Amazon rankings?
Fixing accessibility violations removes the quality flags Amazon places on non-compliant EPUBs. After uploading a fixed file to KDP, Amazon re-reviews it — authors typically see suppression flags cleared within 48-72 hours.
What data do you collect?
